Following along from my previous post, this new technology allows users to interact with a surface using multiple points of contact simultaneously, this allows users to manipulate a virtual space in a way that a cursor or a simple touch screen could never do. Microsoft is also developing a similar technology for use with surfaces such as counter tops and tables. In a word, neat.
